After you get out of the cave you have to climb out of a fern-filled pit that naturally hides the entrance. This one, by the way, is only one of a hundred others. The cave environment is very fragile ecologically, subject not only to the depradations of vandals and uncaring visitors, but also to the seemingly harmless acts of collecting souvenirs and touching things. Treat the cave with respect, listen to the advice of your guide, and this will continue to be an amazing adventure for many more people for a long time to come.
