Keahua Stream was a series of shallow rapids followed by deep pools, most of which could not be avoided, and some of which were so deep that the adventurers had to inch their way along the edges or risk going completely under. As it was, they had to go neck deep more than once, and the challenge was compounded by mazes of hau trees and darkness.
