This is Oneuli, Black Sand Beach, on the north side of the point, looking back toward it. This beach is easy to miss because you have to watch very carefully for a dirt road on the right before reaching the Big Beach parking lots. It is about at the middle of the point and there is a small sign that says "Makena Beach State Park." Keep to the right and the road will take you to the beach where very few people go (black sand is very hot on a sunny day).
