More Than Just Lava

In addition to lava rock, there is a lot of other interesting stuff inside the cave. We encountered gypsum and calcite crystals, slime molds, various bacterial formations in various colors, a tiny millipede, and a type of web-making spider with long fangs that the guide didn't know the name of (not a wolf spider). The lava itself has a wide range of colors and textures that constantly interest the eye as well.
