As mentioned, Kazumura has many levels. One reason for this is the terrain crossed by the molten lava, of course, but another is the very curious phenomenon of tubes forming within tubes. I don't understand all the fluid dynamics involved, but during our tour we saw as many as three tubes, one above the other, and all connected by "skylights."
