| Hula was performed on this platform and might have been done at the rising of the sun in the east. The trees may not have been there and the sight would than have been to the ocean and the rising sun. It is presumed that here Lohiau and Paoa were drumming the pahu which drew Pele in spirit from the Big Island. |
